Horizontal ribbon blender is a mixing device designed for powders, particles, and high-viscosity materials. It adopts a horizontal barrel + double-screw counter-rotating structure to achieve three-dimensional mixing. It can mix different types of powders, particles, liquids and other different types of materials. It is especially suitable for mixing powders with large viscosity, cohesion or specific gravity differences.
The horizontal ribbon mixer adopts a U-shaped barrel and a spiral structure. The double spiral rotates in the opposite direction to form a three-dimensional mixing field, which is suitable for high-viscosity pastes, multi-component powders, etc.

Convection circulation design: The double spiral blades make the material move in the axial and radial directions at the same time, shortening the mixing time to 3-15 minutes, and the uniformity can reach more than 99%.
Can handle various materials: It can handle mixing processes with powders, particles, fibers, pastes and a small amount of liquid addition, such as premixes, compound fertilizers, real stone paint, etc.
Material customization: Carbon steel, 304/316L stainless steel are selected according to the corrosiveness of the material, and sandblasting, polishing or anti-stick coating can be added.

Carbon steel material: Due to its cost advantage and high load-bearing performance, it is the preferred choice for large-capacity models above 5 tons. After sandblasting and rust removal and anti-corrosion paint treatment, it can be used to mix non-corrosive dry powder materials such as cement, mineral powder, and feed, especially suitable for projects with limited budgets or short-term projects.
Stainless steel material (304/316L): 304 stainless steel is resistant to weak acids and alkalis, suitable for food-grade scenarios such as milk powder and seasonings; 316L stainless steel is resistant to chloride ion corrosion and meets the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical and marine environments.
The horizontal ribbon blender is mainly composed of a U-shaped horizontal barrel, a single-layer or double-layer ribbon mixing component, a drive system, etc. Some models are also equipped with a heating jacket, a temperature control system, and an explosion-proof component.

Transmission system: Adopts cycloidal pinwheel reducer direct connection or belt drive, supporting variable frequency speed regulation to adapt to different material requirements.
Sealing and heating/cooling jacket: optional electric heating, thermal oil heating or water cooling system to meet the process requirements of temperature-sensitive materials.
The horizontal ribbon mixer achieves material mixing by rotating a single or double layer of spiral ribbon in a U-shaped horizontal cylinder. The single spiral ribbon mainly promotes the axial movement of the material, while the double spiral ribbon forms a speed ratio difference of 1:1.2-1.5 due to the reverse rotation of the inner and outer layers. When the outer spiral ribbon pushes the material, the inner spiral ribbon pulls back in the opposite direction, so that the material produces a three-dimensional mixing movement of "annular convection + cross shear", completing a single cycle within 20-40 seconds.

Single powder: suitable for single powders such as flour, starch, mineral powder, titanium dioxide, etc. The ribbon design can break the powder agglomeration and avoid stratification, and the mixing uniformity exceeds 99%.
